Terms and Conditions

Please read carefully the following terms and condition

  • Inclusions: Please see the itinerary of the tour for specific inclusions. Umbrellas, mosquito repellent, snacks, water or any beverages are not included during the tour.

  • ​Booking: Bookings can either be made via our email account res@rarosafaritours.co.ck or by visiting our office which is located at least 50m anti clockwise across the Rarotonga international airport.

Please also note Raro Safari Tours reserves the right to cancel your booking in the instant to which your safety or the safety of others is at risk, based on weather conditions and truck maintenance.

  • Payment options: We accept cash or cheque, Online banking payment available. Please be informed of our company policy on online banking payments. For all online bookings we kindly request that payments be made in advance. Please note that bank fees may apply. (See Deposit Policy)


  • Deposit Policy: Due to COVID-19 full payments is not required upon booking, this can be made upon arrival at our office across from the international airport.


  • Cancellation Policy: Please be advised of our cancellation policy. For any booking cancellation, please note that cancellations made within 24hours of booking will incur a 100% cancellation fee. In the instance of an emergency, we kindly request that you provide us with a 96hours minimum notice, failing to do so will not be eligible for a refund.

  • Travel insurance: We do not provide travel insurance (which covers your missing part or all of the tour for health reasons, airplane delays, lost bags, etc.) but do highly recommend it in case of unforeseen circumstances.


  • Liability: Our highest commitment to you as a customer of Raro Safari Tours, is to provide you a safe and enjoyable tour. Our Tour guides are trained to ensure the safety of our customers by executing reasonable skill and care throughout the duration of your tour. In saying that Raro Safari Tours will not be responsible to any injury, illness, death, loss (including loss of possessions and loss of enjoyment), damage, expense, cost or other sum or claim of any description whatsoever which results from any of the following:

    • your act(s) and/or omission(s); or

    • the act(s) and/or omission(s) of a third party not connected with the provision of your trip and which were unforeseeable or unavoidable


  • Tipping: How much you tip is a personal matter and completely up to you.


  • Photographs / Video Our Guide(s) or representative from Raro Safari Tours will sometimes photograph throughout the tour. These photos may be posted on one or all of our social media sites. If you would prefer not to participate in a picture taken by the guide, please let the guide know ahead of time and you will be accommodated.


  • Medical / Diet This tour does not require much physical movement, If you have any medical conditions (back problems) that would not allow for this please let us know immediately. We will need two assess if this is the right tour for you.


  • Privacy: Raro Safari Tours uses only information that is voluntarily provided to us. Any information that is provided to us is for internal use only i.e., to provide to you the service which you have requested.
